Permanent Account Number (PAN) is a ten-digit alphanumeric number, issued in the form of a laminated card, by an Assessing Officer of the Income Tax Department.
A typical PAN is
AFRPP1595D.

- Following Documents are required for PAN Application:
- For Individuals :-
- One Colour Photograph
- Proof of Address (any one): - Ration card/ Driving license / Bank Account Statement / Passport / Credit card Statement / Voters ID / Employer certificate / Telephone Bill / Electricity Bill / Property Tax Receipt
- Proof of Identity (any one): - Ration card/ Driving license / Bank Account Statement / Passport / Credit card Statement / Voters ID / Degree Certificate
- Prescribed application Form
- For HUF/ Company/Firms:-
- HUF: For proof of identity and address,any document prescribed in the case of individuals in respect of Karta of the HUF
- Company: Copy of Certificate of Registration issued by Registrar of Companies.
- Firms: Copy of Certificate of Registration issued by Registrar or Copy of Partnership deed.
- Processing: PAN Cards are normally processed by the NSDL (Mumbai Office https://tin-nsdl.com ), and dispatched directly to the clients.
- In case of non receipt of the same we will co-ordinate and extend all possible help, but can not guarantee delivery of the same.

Use only BLACK INK for filling up form and signature.
|
Don't use any other ink for filling up form and signature.
|
|
Sign should be inside the BLOCK provided for signature.
|
Don't sign outside the block provided for signature.
|
|
Each box, wherever provided, should contain only one character (alphabets/number/punctuation sign) and leave a box blank after each word.
|
Don't write continuously without keeping a box blank after every word.
|
|
Middle Name should be mentioned compulsorily
|
Except for South Indians & Christians, middle name is compulsorily.
|
|
Married women should write Father's Name only in block provided for the same.
|
Married women should not write their Husband's name in the place of Father's Name.
|
|
Individual applicants should paste one recent, coloured photograph (stamp size: 3.5 cm X 2.5 cm).
|
The photograph should not be stapled or clipped. The clarity of the image on PAN Card will depend on the quality and clarity of photograph pasted on the form.

Notes:-
- All the documents should be in the name of the Applicant only for example electricity bill in father's name is invalid.
- Photograph should contain Blue/ Red background. Photograph with shaded background will be invalid.
- Those already allotted a ten digit alphanumeric PAN shall not apply again, as having or using more then one PAN is illegal. Such allottees may, however, request for the new PAN card in case if it has been lost or change in their personal details.
- Clients are requested to fill the details properly as improper filling would attract rejection
- Clients are required to submit address proof without C/O address.

Status can be obtained by sending an SMS to 3030 with a message containing the word PAN followed by a space and the 15-digit acknowledgement number provided at the time of submission of application or by log in on
